This is a website blog dedicated to the work of a WORKPLACE CHAPLAIN. The desire of the chaplain in the workplace that is committed to providing care for employees, is to build caring relationships, with the hope of gaining permission to share the life changing Good News of Jesus Christ. It is for this reason that everything on this blog is dedicated to help people “LIVE IN TIME, WITH ETERNITY IN MIND.”
A workplace chaplain desires to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, by helping others in three areas.
1. To help bring people into a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SON OF GOD (through salvation) Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore and TEACH (the Gospel) all nations”
2. To help bring people into a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CHURCH OF GOD (through worship, fellowship, and discipleship within a local body of believers) Matthew 28:19b “baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost”
3. To help bring people into a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORD OF GOD (through Blogs, teaching how to have a quiet time, electronic bible study like iStudyebs.org, helping them find a good church to get connected to etc.) The process of discipleship never ends because it is a lifelong process until Jesus comes when all God’s people will be conformed to the image and likeness of Christ (1 John 3:1-3; Romans 8:29) Matthew 28:20 “Teaching them to observe ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I have commanded you…”
